Quick Review: Snap-on Back Protector for Palm Pre - Amzer

Here is another product for the Palm Pre from Amzer. Out of the packaging, you'll get a case, er, back cover cover, a screen protector and cleaning cloth. Something worth noting is that the screen protector is not like of the Ghost Armor or InvisibleSHIELD, but more like those static cling window film/decoration.

The quality of the cover won't be what you'd called as great, but it's good. Definitely better than the cheap case you find on eBay.

This back cover is by far the easiest to snap on, and thinnest out of the 2 cases we've review so far (Rocketfish, another Amzer case).

Price: The cover will run you $12.95 from our Store.

Verdict: Best back cover from what I've reviewed so far. It protects the back and corners well, and it's thin --but not Ghost Armor thin. I'll say though that the screen protector is almost not usable. It was difficult to install and it can be easily taken off, a little too easy. I'd say the back cover and cleaning cloth alone is worth the $13.

thoughts? it looks tacky, ugly and bulky and people shouldn't worry about shit like scratches or smudges or whatever. It's just a phone. And for 20 bucks you can just buy a new back in a year or so. Besides in two year's most will buy a new phone anyways as the newest thing comes out. Just my opinion. cases, screen protectors, protective backings are all just taking it too seriously.

There really is no need to buy any of these new cases, (covers). If you use the invisible shield for the screen, and the touchstone battery cover for the back, you are completely protected. The invisible shield has a lifetime warranty, and the touchstone cover is only $14.00 to replace!
